Frank Ruiz
Frank Ruiz was born in New Jersey. For 26 years he was raised by Cuban immigrants in the shadows of Newark Airport who taught him three things, the ethic of hard work, the value of family and the love of the Catholic Church. At the age of 26, he married his first love, Maria and moved to Texas to raise a family. For 22 years the young family grew up in the suburbs of Houston first and then subsequently in Dallas raising two sons, Michael and Robert. During this time, he immersed himself deeply in learning the faith and understanding his faith walk. Teaching Baptism classes, attending, participating and directing men’s retreats, learning different spiritualities and institutions from Opus Dei to Regnum Christi. In this time of spiritual searching, he discovered his calling of working with men and for men. He also discovered his need for Spiritual Direction which continues to this day. In 2014, God answered Frank’s love for the mountains, and he got the opportunity to move him and his family out to Aurora, CO. There he went through the Ignatian exercises and God ignited his passion for Ignatian spirituality. He joined the Lanteri Center program for Spiritual Direction and graduating in March of 2022.
He likes to snowboard, play dominoes, spend time with his family and working with men to discover their calling from God.
